PICKUP OPTIONS:
Beef processed at Muxlow's in Brown City may be picked up there or we offer to pickup and meet everyone at a central location in Caro on one set day & time.
Beef processed at Coon Creek Packing in Caro must be picked up there.

TOTAL PRICE:
Quarters processed at Muxlow's typically cost between $600 and $700 TOTAL with processing and everything.
Quarters processed at Coon Creek typically cost between $675 and $775 TOTAL with processing and everything.

We work with two processors to meet everyone's budget and packaging needs. The processors' prices are out of our control, but we will do our best to notify you if we hear of any changes and work with you to modify your order to help you stay on budget if there is a significant increase in processing price.
- Muxlow Meats in Brown City packages most cuts in freezer paper. We've had freezer paper wrapped meat for years and have been happy with how it holds up. This is the least expensive option. If Brown City is a far drive for you, we will bring the meat back to our farm in Millington for you to pickup there at no extra charge. You'll need to bring coolers or boxes to transport your meat in.
Muxlow's charges a $15 butcher fee per quarter, $3 disposal fee per quarter, and $0.60 per pound of hanging weight for processing.
- Coon Creek Packing in Caro packages most cuts in vacuum sealed clear plastic. This makes is easier to see exactly what is in each package, and it allows for thawing in water if you forget and need to do that (umm, yes please!). This costs more, but many of our customers have said they really like it and feel it is worth the price. Coon Creek also provides sturdy cardboard boxes for transport so you do not need to bring coolers unless you're traveling a long distance on a hot day. Meat processed there must be picked up directly from them, farm pickup is not available.
Coon Creek charges a $12.50 butcher fee per quarter and $0.99 per pound of hanging weight for processing.
